Art for a cause in Norway

I was thrilled to get an invitation to participate in the second International Twitter Art Exhibit being organized by David Sandum in Moss, Norway. David is calling on artists (on Twitter) from around the world to submit postcard-sized works of art to help raise funds for a women’s crisis center in Moss.

It’s a great example of connections in cyberspace being used for good causes. To follow other artists who are participating in the exhibit, and to view their artwork entries on Twitter, use the hashtag #twitterartexhibit.

Here is the postcard piece I contributed to the exhibit. It’s based on the beautiful location I live in, the Canadian Rockies, and it’s a combination watercolor painting and block print.
